Information

The hotel revisits the tradition of classic Andalusian country houses, which is abundantly clear from the exterior. The swimming pool with spectacular views of the nature reserve, and the light-filled interior, with a lounge where you can enjoy pleasant afternoon chats beside the fireplace, make the Parador an inviting spot.

If you love hunting and game, either as a sport or in the dining room, this is the perfect place to indulge your passion. The Parador is the ideal setting-off point for hiking or mountain biking in the mountains. You can also visit the source of the Guadalquivir River, find yourself amidst ancient yew trees and vulture's nests, and explore Cueva del Agua (Water Cave) or the Roman ruins in the nearby town of Peal de Becerro. And of course, you can visit lovely Yedra Castle and the town of Cazorla, whose small houses clustered at the foot of the great mountain range add to the beauty of the landscape.

Environment

The Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas Nature Reserve is located in Jaén province, 102 km from the city of Jaen. The nature reserve is an oasis of peace, where you can relax and enjoy a variety of activities, including air and water sports. The park is accessible by car, on foot, on horseback and on bicycle. The local climate lends each season of the year its own special charm, making it unique: from a winter refuge to long summer days enjoyed along the riverbanks.

Jaén is frontier territory. Every town in the province is filled with history and the traces of the many civilizations that have established a presence on the peninsula. Must-see examples include the Templar castle at La Iruela and the ruins of Renaissance Santa María Church.
